TV Time has shut down: meet Suivu, import your history in one click
TV Time, the app that followed 26 million viewers around the world, closed for good on July 15, 2026. If you exported your history, it isn’t lost: Suivu imports it in minutes, for free.
Good news: Suivu imports your TV Time archive exactly as it is, untouched ZIP, no unzipping, in about 2 minutes — followed shows, watched episodes, movies and ratings all fall back into place automatically.
Step 1 — your TV Time archive
Find your TV Time archive
Already exported your history before the shutdown? That ZIP file is all you need — skip straight to the import. If not, try TV Time's GDPR export tool: as long as it still responds, the process takes just a few minutes.
-
Go to TV Time's export tool (gdpr.tvtime.com/gdpr/self-service)
Open it from your browser, on mobile or on desktop.
-
Sign in with your TV Time account
Use the email address or social login linked to your TV Time account.
-
Request your data export
Confirm the GDPR export request: TV Time prepares a complete archive of your history.
-
Get the ZIP file by email
You'll receive an email with a download link to your full archive.
-
Keep the file exactly as it is
Download the ZIP and hold on to it without unzipping it: that's the exact file you'll drop into Suivu.
Keep that ZIP file safe: once downloaded, the archive stays valid forever. You can import it into Suivu, or anywhere else, whenever you're ready.
Step 2 — Import your TV Time history into Suivu in 2 minutes
Drop the TV Time ZIP archive into Suivu when you sign up, without unzipping it. Suivu recognizes the format automatically and rebuilds your entire library.
- Followed shows and season-by-season progress
- Every episode you've already watched, with its watch date
- Watched and rated movies
- Ratings given to shows and episodes
- 100% free import, no limits, from the moment you create your account
Moved to Trakt after the shutdown? Suivu also imports Trakt archives (ZIP export): watch history, ratings and watchlist are recognized automatically, just like TV Time archives. The Trakt import guide is here.

What to know about the shutdown
What happens to my TV Time history now that it has shut down?
TV Time shut down on July 15, 2026 and deleted every account and all associated data. If you exported your archive before the shutdown, your watch history, ratings and followed shows are safe inside the ZIP file and import straight into Suivu.
Is importing my TV Time history into Suivu free?
Yes, importing your TV Time archive into Suivu is completely free, including for accounts that never subscribe to Premium.
Is my TV Time export still usable after the shutdown?
Yes. The ZIP file from TV Time's official export tool stays valid and reusable indefinitely, even months after the shutdown. Suivu imports it in full: watch history, ratings and followed shows.
Do I need to unzip the file before importing it into Suivu?
No. Drop the archive into Suivu exactly as it is, without unzipping it: manually extracting the file can break the structure the import expects and cause data loss.
I moved to Trakt after TV Time shut down, can I migrate to Suivu?
Yes. Suivu also imports Trakt archives: export your data from Trakt (ZIP file) and drop the archive into Suivu, which recognizes the format automatically. Watch history, ratings and watchlist come along, for free.
Is Suivu affiliated with TV Time?
No, Suivu is an independent app with no affiliation to TV Time. It was built specifically to give TV Time users a smooth, complete landing spot after the shutdown, with a one-click import of their full viewing history.
